Forever Unique

When Kipekee was born right here in East Tennessee, I was living in Texas. I remember seeing the news and thinking, Wow… something that incredibly rare was born back home. Her name, Kipekee, means “unique,” and she truly was. The world’s only known spotless giraffe. Sadly, she passed away in 2025. So I wanted this drawing to be more than just a picture of her. I wanted it to tell a story. There are several little pieces of symbolism hidden throughout it, some easier to find than others. I named this one “Forever Unique.” Because some things are simply one of a kind, and they deserve to be remembered that way.
